1. Regulatory Status
Redwood Asset Management is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZim) in connection with the investment management services it provides, including asset and portfolio management, pension and insurance fund advisory, and wealth planning and advisory.
2. Nature of Our Services
We provide discretionary and advisory investment management services to individuals, institutions, pension funds, and insurance-linked portfolios. The specific terms of each mandate, including fees, risks, and investment objectives, are set out in the relevant client agreement or fund prospectus.
3. Risk Disclosure
All investments carry risk, including the potential loss of capital invested. The value of units, portfolios, and underlying assets can fluctuate due to market, currency, credit, and liquidity conditions in Zimbabwe and the region. Clients should ensure they understand the risks associated with a particular mandate or fund before investing.
4. Conflicts of Interest
Redwood Asset Management maintains policies designed to identify and manage conflicts of interest that may arise in the course of providing investment management services, in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
5. Client Asset Protection
Client assets are held and administered in accordance with applicable custody and safekeeping requirements. Further detail on custodial arrangements for a specific fund or mandate is available on request.
6. Complaints
Clients with a concern about our services may raise it directly with our team via the details on our Contact page. Where a complaint cannot be resolved directly, clients retain the right to escalate the matter to SECZim.
